Leadership Dickson County is currently accepting applications for the 2023-2024 class that starts in September. Leadership Dickson County is a nine-month program to develop a diverse network of leaders throughout the county with a broad understanding of the community’s needs, issues and resources.

Founded in 1992 as a program of the Dickson County Chamber, Leadership Dickson County has nine daily sessions September-May that focus on different aspects of the community, including its history, education system, local and state government, economic development, healthcare, industries, community resources, tourism, utilities and more. It begins with a two-day retreat that includes team-building exercises on the Challenge Course constructed by the LDCAA at J. Dan Buckner Park.

Tuition is $425 with some scholarship funds available and there is a $25 non-refundable fee due when the application is submitted. Applications can be obtained from the Dickson County Chamber or at dicksoncountychamber.com with a deadline of July 31.
